Founded in 1903 Ford was the first manufacturer to use an assembly line to mass produce vehicles. Ford boasts 3 models in the top 10 cars sold. The legendary Model T sold over 16 million units, Escort has sold over 18 million and the F-Series has sold over 35 million. In 2011 Ford began selling it's Focus Electric.
In 2012 the US EPA ranked the Focus Electric the most fuel-efficient compact class vehicles sold in the United States. This vehicle doesn't break the mold in any respect, but it is a good car with everything to be expected of an EV today.
